First day of school

This is Clay's first day of school. He is excited to be back to school with his friends. He already had the "awesomest" day ever. They got cupcakes and Mrs Brigham only had to raise her voice once!!! Ha-ha. He had a great day.

Taylin was just as excited to go to school as Clay. She was upset that she didn't get to go in to school. She got her back pack ready with pencils and paper. She wants to do "school," whenever I'm doing homework I have to give her "assignments" to do. She loves the work.

This is Zak, Clay and Jake. They are best buds and all in the same class. They have so much fun together. This year should be great.

Clay's party

Just a couple of pictures from Clay's birthday. It was fun. We rented a sno cone machine and a bouncer. Clay loved it. We think that will be the last big gathering for birthdays (friends and family). It's so fun to set up and get everyone together but by the time you do everything during the party, it's hard to talk to people that you are just meeting or family you haven't seen. Next year we'll take a couple of friends and do something and then just have a family bbq. It's so chaotic (or maybe it's just me being unorganized)

Watch out Kayla an d Mckenna he's been practicing.

This is the bouncer and his friend Jake (up top). Jake's mom surprised us by giving us a dance dance revolution game for PSP2. Needless to say Clay has not been off it at all. You should see the Ivie moves he has. (It's kinda scary, ha-ha)

Anybody need some toys? Thank goodness we cleaned out his closet a couple days before.

Wyoming vacation

We just got back from a wonderful week in Wyoming. We stayed with family who were so welcoming and hospitable. We went to Jackson hole for a day, went rowboating in the Salt River, rode some horses, went hiking, and most fun of all relaxed. On the way home we stopped and stayed with the Daniels'. It was a great trip. School is almost going to start for me and Clay. Hopefully we will be able to keep this blog going through the fall. This is Taylin, Clay and their friend Wyatt. Clay's blowing a bubble and Taylin's blowing a flower. This is a hike up to periodic springs. It's just out of Star Valley. It's a great hike and if you go up there in Early September the spring actually stops running for a couple of minutes and then starts going again. It's real cool.
This is Travis and Clay fishing on the dam at Strawberry Reservoir (I think. It was more like a stream though) It was beautiful. Another great hike and a great place to find fossils. No luck fishing. Right below Travis there were tons of fish I think this is where he's calling "here fishy, fishy." Good thing he never reads this blog. Ha-ha.
Clay found a new love up there. He had a great lesson on riding a horse and now wants horse riding lessons. Hopefully when he starts gymnastics again that will take his mind off that. Can't afford the horse right now. Ha-ha.
The kids have had it. Not really, they had so much fun. They are good actors though, huh. This was the last day and after five days they still did not want to go home. Clay didn't even miss his PSP2 or gameboy. It was great.
This was the first day home. They couldn't wait to get in the pool with grandpa Joe. They want to move up to Wyoming, so do we. We love it up there and are thankful we have family up there to go visit.

Summer days of 2006

We have had some fun this Summer with our family and friends. Clay loves the airplanes at Adventuredome but loves the pirate ship more. We spent a couple hours there and then had to go home after our eyes became irritated with some sort of chemicals they put in the log ride. We got free tickets for another day so hopefully soon we can return.

This is Kayla, far left, Mckenna and Clay, hanging on for dear life. As you can see "The Frogger" is not very far off the ground. This was at Buffalo Bill's casino at stateline. It's pretty fun. They have a lot more rides than they use too. I would not recommend the roller coaster for anyone over 25 though. I tried to get Clay to go on it but after I went on it I was glad he did not go. It was too fast and bumpy, I need a good chiropractor now.

Taylin loves to dress up. She loves her magic wand, hat and shoes. She walks around in her dress up shoes all day. She has had fun with her cousins this Summer and misses them alot.
