Astrocamp 2009

Clay had an amazing opportunity to go to Astro camp with a group of kids from his school. He went for three days. They learned about constellations, micro gravity, and other spacey things. He took some pictures. This is of the dining hall. We are still working on photography for him. But he did pretty well.

TAylin and her singing group got to sing at the Clark County Fair this weekend. It was raining the whole time. Luckily we got to ride the ponies but that was it.

Pre show fun. We got there and it was sprinkling, but when we left it was raining too hard to do anything else. Maybe next year.

Warning, you may get dizzy from this video. It was so amazing. The kids loved it. I wish I could be a non paranoid mom and let them run free. If only they had a safety net 20 feet down, I would feel better.

I am a wimp. I should have let them roam and be free. It's only a half mile drop. Surely it has happened before to other kids, right? Maybe next year.

After we made it to the delicate arches, we let the kids run.

(Add-on) To really appreciate the hike, click on and you can see our truck in the distance. Sad thing was that where that picture was taken was only half way to the delicate arch!

The flat rock that leads you to the delicate arches. Not so bad going down, but coming up watch out. When people say it's just around the bend don't believe them! We had fun and everybody survived. Yay!

Spring Break 2009

This was a farm close to the Daniels' retreat. The horses cam running when they saw Aunt Marilyn. She must feed them well.

Taylin still kind of scared of them. That's ok.

I love how the other horses came running. When we stopped they were laying on the ground sleeping then they got word that we were giving them food and they began to run towards us.
