Tessa, Taylin and Brooke after the recital.

Singing recital

Field trip to Anderson dairy

Sleepover craziness

They had so much fun dancing to Mama Mia

The end result.

Halloween 2009

Pumpkin carving

Taylin loves whip cream!
A little note about our family from Taylin. It reads: I love my family. I have a mom and a dad. I have a brother. His name is Clay. I have a funny brother. He plays funny pranks on my dad. My grandpa is funny on April Fool's Day. My family is very funny.

Her class.

Clay decided at the last minute that he wanted to go trick or treating so hence the football player. Ha-ha he thought he was too mature to go trick or treating until he realized all the candy Taylin would get. Funny guy.

Halloween 2009

Lake Powell with the men and Clay

Uncle Craig, Stan and Clay set their way out on the lake.

Clay's fish

Travis' fish

Clay by Uncle Craig's fancy new boat. I'm sure there would have been more pictures if the women went. They all had fun and Clay came back with all sorts of knowledge, some good, most bad. Thanks Stan. LOL

2009 Elk hunt

One last look, making sure he didn't miss anything.

Waking up at 4am on vacation was not my idea of a fun vacation, but I did it for love.

Still nothing.

Not giving up.

Cool reservoir that we have never been to after all these years of being in Utah. Who knew? Obviously not us. Rex reservoir.

The view from the top

Never Summer mountains, named appropriately!

A prescribed burn below. We drove right past it.

Travis freezing. He'll deny it but his teeth were chattering.

me all nice and toasty.

Travis disproving mother nature again! He was really upset that it wasn't a natural waterfall. It was funny.

Rifle Falls

We found this little place on the map and decided to take a detour from our scheduled itinerary. Pretty falls. You can take a loop to the top and then back down again. Glad we explored.

Travis' silhouette from behind the water falls.

Travis is wishing he would have brought his fishing pole. You could see all the fish.

Road trip to Colorado

Little deer.

If you have really good eyes or if you zoom you will see a bobcat right below the horse. Travis saw it with his bionic eyes.

Rifle gap reservoir, pretty little lake.

Don't remember, nice lake.

Steakhouse in Steamboat Springs. I love Colorado, you can go to a fancy steakhouse in jeans!

One of the many times we crossed the divide.

Yay fall colors.

Lake Granby

Grand Lake

Grand Lake village

Estes Park

Estes Park was so pretty. It was the Elk festival in town= tons of people. Cute town, will go back on any other weekend than this one.

Some cute stores

Love the leaves. Notice the line of cars?

We made it through town and I looked to the left and saw tons of elk so we turned right and there was this golf course filled with Elk and people (not to smart of people I might add!) that got way to close to the elk.

Please don't mind the sprinkler in the back ground. Ooops.

Nice peaceful elk minding their own business. The golf course had these little huts you could run to if the elk got to close. We went in one twice.

The papa elk didn't want any other bulls to get too close to his herd. There were 6 big elk with only 2 herds.
