Lagoon 2nd day

We love Lagoon! Lagoon on the second day is better.
Ginger and clay before the haunted house. They loved it.
My brave nieces Kayla and Mckenna venture off to the Superman ride (forgot the name of it). They sure had fun. It was scary for me to watch them!

Oh the video!!! A little problem at the beginning, maybe they can explain.

There they go!!!

Taylin on the train ride. It's the best!

Newport (Finally)

Yayyy! The grand kids are playing on the balcony of the villa. They were so excited to get there.

This is Taylin on the way to the Ronald Reagan Library. I love these pictures!
The grandkids upfront listening and learning about Ronald Reagan.
The highlight of the visit was the Air force One. It was fun to walk through it and show the kids what cell phones looked like back in the 80's, among other things, like lap top computers that took up a whole room on the plane.

Newport 2008

This was our favorite beach. It was nice when we got there, we were the only ones there and then the sun came out and it got busy.
Hello Hottie!
Notice overcast? It was early, we set up and before you know it blue skies.

Clay boogie boarding.

Baseball game

We went to a San Diego Padres and Diamondbacks baseball game in San Diego. We love the Padres stadium. It's small enough and the lines are never long.
Can you say more cotton candy pleeeeeeeease?
Our view.

I think we were the last people there.

Blue Whale video

">

OK you have to look close. About .06 seconds into it you'll see the Blue Whale's tail. Clay freaked out. I try to explain that the boat is way bigger than the whale. Clay doesn't buy it then Travis confirms that the whale is way bigger than the boat. Thanks a lot Travis.

Captain Dave's dolphin safari

If you are ever in Newport or Dana Point, you have to check out Captain Dave's dolphin safari. It was awesome. They take you out on this nice boat. It held about 25 people easy. The kids can explore the whole boat. This was there favorite spot. The boat ride was about 3 hours long (Gilligan's Island) and you see hundreds of dolphins. We were lucky enough to see a blue whale at the end of the trip, also. Captain Dave is way cool and knows a lot about the marine world.
Hanging out.
There were dolphins everywhere out there.

The dolphins swam with us for a while.

Soaking in the sun. It was pretty cold once you get out there. The water is right below them. It was fun when we hit a big wave. They didn't get too wet.

Heading back in. It was a great trip.

Newport Beach

Pool pictures. This is a fun and not too busy pool.
The view from above at our villa.

The original body boarder! He had so much fun.

Travis and Taylin. Can you spy Clay, Kayla, Mckenna, Uncle Scott, Grandpa and Tracy?

Any body want to challenge me in a game of smashball? Grrrr!
