maybe this one

Don't know why the videos aren't showing. I will keep trying.

At the end Clay and Jake decided to build a jump. It was fun, but kinda scary. Good thing they did that at the end of the trip and good thing they are made out of rubber.

Sledding in February

This is from the top of the hill looking down. It was a big hill that went down and then back up again. It was a good hill and we came back with all of our teeth. What more can you ask for?

Tay and Brooke doing what they did best.

Clay and Jake, before the hill.

Taylin will eat any snow. She has yet to learn that yellow and brown snow are bad. She'll learn though.

Miss Brooke.

The girls surrendered to the truck and their DS's after the wipe out.

More sledding

This shows how long the trail was. Travis rode down on the ATV to make a good rut so they could follow. Sometimes they stayed in sometimes they didn't. It was fun.

Please put videos on mute. I forget how awful my laugh sounds when I video. Anyways, this was our sledding day at Cold creek. It was the best little hill and nobody was there. It was a good size hill and everyone had fun. The second video at the end you'll hear me say I hear crying. That was Taylin apparently Travis took her too fast on a curve and she toppled. She is ok and jumped into the truck after that.

The girls are riding backwards so the snow doesn't get in their face. It was cold.

At the end Clay and Jake decided to build a jump. It was fun kinda scary. Good thing they did that at the end of the trip and good thing they are made out of rubber.

Cool blog

Since most of you view blogs through the google reader like I do. I want to share a blog that a friend had. It's preparedness in 52 weeks. It looks awesome and if it continues it will help me become better prepared.

Sledding videos

Lastly, this is why you should test out the hill before taking one of your children with you. I'm so sorry Taylin.

Ely NV Fire and Ice

We made it to Cave Lake for the Fire and Ice Festival. It was cold. These are our good friends the Bundy's they live in Ely. Ty has helped Travis with his hunts and they have become very good (and close, ha-ha) friends. They got stuck on the mountain on the Elk hunt. Long story.

Some of the ice sculptures. This is stay puff marshmallow guy from Ghostbusters.

A banana split.

Train coming out of a tunnel.

I wasn't sure of this one. Travis knew right off that it was a ram's head.
This is Hoover Dam it was pretty cool.

The pony express.

The view from above.

Ice castle.

The ice was only 6 to 8 inches thick, as we later found out. They had four wheelers hauling people all over so we figured it was safe.
