Warning: fun times ahead and lots of pictures. This is our trip to Star Valley Wyoming. Undoubtedly the best place to spend the fourth of July in my book. It hammers Richfield and Las Vegas, sorry.

First day the kids got to feed the horses. Aunt Marilyn showed them how to use a pitch fork. Not sure if they participated or just watched this time.

This was our cute cabin. This is the living room. It had an Americana cottage theme, how festive for the fourth of July.

This is the bedroom.

We watched the parade in front of the city sign. Notice nobody to the side or in front of us Wade?

I have driven past this sign a lot of times and never knew there was this irrigation ditch. It was so nice and peaceful. It ran right behind our cabin also.

After the fourth of July we went to another town that had a festival. The kids got to play games, ride the train and have tons of fun.

Notice all the people? It was nice you could actually walk around and not have to wait in lines for everything. We did however go a couple hours later after it started.

This is Clay with his Wyoming buddies. They played outside all day. We took the kids bikes so they could ride all over.

Bad picture of the arch, darn flag. Just kidding. This is in Afton with Travis, Matt, Krista and
Arija. It was fun shopping up there. This was Saturday and
unbeknownst to us there was another parade in 15 minutes. Good times!

This parade participant hopefully won for originality. They own a septic cleaning system and dressed their kids up as little turds. Notice the sign on the Rhino? Another thing about the parades up there is that they go down one side of the street and then... come up the other side of the street!! Double the candy and fun. It was cool.

This is the reason we went up to Wyoming. This is Travis' family. His Aunt
Calleen, Uncle Lynn, Aunt Marilyn, his Dad and his Grandma Kathy sitting. It was so good to see everyone and be with family. This was taken in Aunt Marilyn's back yard, notice the view? Nothing for miles, it is so beautiful. Also see the fence in the back ground? They didn't see the fence all Winter. So before you say "I would like to live up there," (Grandpa Joe), just remember with great Summers come long cold Winters.

The kids got to bust open a pinata in celebration of the fourth,
yay more candy !!!

Clay, Curt's kids and
Taylin playing games with Aunt
Calleen. She really knows how to entertain.

The fun begins on a new day. This is cottonwood reservoir, the coldest lake I've ever swam in. This is
Taylin hitching a ride from her Uncle Aaron. He was very brave to take her out.
Taylin hitching another ride with Aunt Holly. Holly said that she was helping out
steering the boat.

Clay taking a break from Kayaking. He paddled as much as he could and as far as he could. After I fell in, I mean went for a swim, it was scary for me to watch him out there so far. Before he fell in, I mean went for a swim, he would go clear across the lake. So I was grateful we "felt the water" and stayed closer to the edge from then on. Talk about anxiety!!!

This is the lake, see the snow? That's where the water comes from,
brrrr.

Everyone devouring lunch after a fun day in and on the water. More pictures to follow, ran out of battery! Duh, who does that anymore?

Go Ivies! I am jealous and I don't miss the craziness of the Richfield celebration at all. BUT who is this other Aunt Marilyn?? She sounds pretty cool, too! And I have always thought Star Valley was Heaven. Did you see Rulon?
