Taylin's graduation

Taylin graduated from kindergarten. They had a cute program and cookies and juice afterwards. Yippee.

Taylin with her certificate.

Video of Taylin singing with the whole kindergarten. Notice the fist half way into it? This is why she's not in too many videos.

Turkey hunting 101

The mighty hunters start off looking for turkeys. They have the equipment, the ammo and the calls.

They look...

They pose... (Stan and Craig)

They agree there are no turkeys out there except for them. Ha-ha,

They decide to fish...

and fish...

and fish.

and fish... (Craig)

and fish. (Travis)

Then they try again to find turkeys but find more interesting things like a big herd of elk.

more elk.

Beautiful scenery...
And more beautiful scenery. All in all it was a good experience. Good times, good friends and good stories.

Astrocamp 2009

Clay had an amazing opportunity to go to Astro camp with a group of kids from his school. He went for three days. They learned about constellations, micro gravity, and other spacey things. He took some pictures. This is of the dining hall. We are still working on photography for him. But he did pretty well.

The Coach bus. He and his buddy sat on the back row going, they had fun and were totally crazy.

Listening to directions.

Hopefully more pictures to follow.

The performance

Beware long video ahead. We were really proud of Taylin, besides the fact of hogging the mic she did a great job.

Taylin performing at the CC fair

TAylin and her singing group got to sing at the Clark County Fair this weekend. It was raining the whole time. Luckily we got to ride the ponies but that was it.

Waiting for the music to start.

Best buddies: Taylin, Brooke and Tessa.

Taylin and her singing group got to perform at the Clark county fair this weekend.

Pre show fun. We got there and it was sprinkling, but when we left it was raining too hard to do anything else. Maybe next year.

Taylin was first on the stage and first off.

Delicate arches

Warning, you may get dizzy from this video. It was so amazing. The kids loved it. I wish I could be a non paranoid mom and let them run free. If only they had a safety net 20 feet down, I would feel better.

Delicate arches

The visitor's center.

Pre hike. It was a beautiful day.

Poser.

Wolfe ranch.

Yes I am holding on to them tightly. Gorgeous view.

I am a wimp. I should have let them roam and be free. It's only a half mile drop. Surely it has happened before to other kids, right? Maybe next year.

After we made it to the delicate arches, we let the kids run.

(Add-on) To really appreciate the hike, click on and you can see our truck in the distance. Sad thing was that where that picture was taken was only half way to the delicate arch!

The flat rock that leads you to the delicate arches. Not so bad going down, but coming up watch out. When people say it's just around the bend don't believe them! We had fun and everybody survived. Yay!

Snowball fight.

Proof that Aunt Marilyn instigated the fight.

Payback with a snowball down the back.

Just enjoying the day.

I know many people would like to take target at Travis. Ha-ha.

Delicate Arches

Not sure why they call them delicate there is nothing delicate about the arch or the hike!
